Listening to How Good We Had It by Hayley Taylor and looking over pictures from last year with my best friends. It’s funny looking back on this time last year, my biggest concerns were what little school work I had and my social life, with my school work often getting in the way of that. All in all my high school experience was incredible, especially my final year. I realized who my true friends were and I felt accomplished for the first time. It’s hard not to be nostalgic at this point looking back at pictures taken with my best friends in my hometown. Now we are all leading separate lives in different cities, life is becoming very real. We really didn’t know how good we had it, living at home and being in the company of our loved ones. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I’m doing and I love the idea of forging my own path and investing in my future, but I do miss my old life.
This is a sad sad day
